SEND/Inclusion Consultant

Emily is our specialist SEND consultant and is also an experienced strategic leader. From working within local government services to leading international practice transformation, Emily has held a number of senior leadership roles across the field of SEND & Inclusion.


Emily previously led the local area SEND Strategy for a large London authority as the Head of SEND & Inclusion, managing multiple teams including advisory teachers, educational psychologists and SEND key workers.  Most recently, Emily worked as the Corporate Head of Inclusion for GEMS Education in Dubai, where she led practice improvement across 50 schools within the UAE. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing SEFs/strategic improvement plans.


Emily holds post-graduate qualifications in Special and Additional Learning Needs and Integrative Counselling and is currently completing a PhD in Psychology with a focus on autism research at the University of Southampton.

She is a proud Trustee of The Eden Academy, a family of 7 special schools designated to support children and young people with SEND."
